We went to a Memorial Park close to home and Shane explained to the kids the importance of this holiday. At the park there were pictures of those who served in Iraq and explanations of how they died. It was touching to see their faces and think of what they gave up so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today.
After the park we went over to the Adam's family for a great time swimming & barbeque!

Wow, you all look so good and the kids have grown tons since I last saw them. Sounds like you found a great place to be and ponder and appreciate... As usual, the kids look adorable!
Where is a pic of you? I love seeing shane and the kids play, they must all be on cloud nine in that pool.

That looked like a great outing. It's good to let kids know the importance of Memorial Day. They are all so cute. Can't wait to see pics of Addy's BD. Love ya all.
