Another best day ever. We cleaned the car and went to dinner at 'My Brothers' Mexican restaurant. Afterwards we took the kids bowling. A lady said she thought we were a cute family and bought us funnel cakes. Sweet lady! Afterwards we went to Caliches for ice cream. Brett calls his ice cream cone a "CANDY CONE".

Took all the kids and dog with me to Utah to visit Lisa while Shane was on a business trip in AZ. I'm so blessed and lucky to be a twin and especially Lisa's twin. During the trip she took the boys and detailed my car, pumped the tires and checked engine while I was visiting my sister-in-law, Kelly. What would I do without her listening ear whenever i need to talk about anything. She is akways worrying about the kids-She'll even stay up texting with me through the night whenever I'm up with sick kids. We had such a blast together talking and laughing ourselves silly. Wish Mom was with us too! Also had a chance to visit with Kelly and hold my new nephew, Karsten! He is so sweet. I had a great time with Kelly! We talked about kids, cooking, and parenting. It was good to catch up with her! Braden took pictures and made Instagram collages on the way back without me knowing. I was pleasantly surprised to see them!

Aleah is very creative and talented. I don't remember coloring, cutting or drawing near as well as she does at her age! Shane and I are kvelling over these. Kvelling is a Jewish word we use occasionally(esp Shane, ha) which means to marvel or revel in something. It's a great word. So here is some of her artwork. 1st pic gloves for her and Addie. Santa Claus and a whale. Bugs. This is all freehand.

On Sunday evening I met a 5 month old miniature deer Chihuahua named Addie. Her owner, a member of our stake already has 2 Great Danes and they keep accidentally hurting her so they had to get rid of her. She is tiny! We think the pictures make her look twice or three times as big as she really is. She doesn't bark, doesn't run away, loves kids, is pad trained and loves to play and cuddle. We set it up as a surprise delivery for Family Hone Evening. The kids had no idea this was coming.

Brett turned 2! Our baby boy is growing up! He's truly a wonderful blessing to our family. We just adore him! He is very sweet, always smiling, cute, happy and smart. He echoes whoever is saying the family nightly prayer even when its not his turn. Brett is thrilled to be living life and his brothers and sisters love him so much. He is definitely 'King of the hill here!!'
